I will miss you, my friend!

At a new place among unknown faces,
with unsure destiny
I came into your world,
with thousands of dreams in eyes
I recall my endless queries,
that gave you countless hassles
Now, as you set to go away,
I ask myself,
didn't I know you since eternity?

We laughed together in every success,
& cried together during failure
To help realize my dreams,
you didn't get enough sleep, for sure!
Thanks for all the wonderful memories,
should I have asked for more?

For that you are aiming higher,
I don't know if my best wishes help you
But, with new ambition & enthusiasm,
I too have great expectations from you

This place is no longer new to me,
but people! they are still the same,
& so are my dreams!
I wish, you will find someone like yourself,
I will miss you, my dear friend,
as you are so special to me, by all means!

(My poems also appear at http://www.poemhunter.com )
(A very dear friend of mine is going back home to begin a new life after completing his study at Hiroshima University, Japan. I will miss him. This post is dedicated to him, as an appreciation to all his help & kindness. Wishing him all the successes ahead!)

I wish the words of thanks fall from the sky in the twinkling night,
I wish time stops and let us stay in same place for ever.
* * * Thank ***You ***Very *** Much***

I wish ever morning I wake up with an e-mail from dear friends,
I wish you will make me laugh & cry together in future also
I wish I don’t sleep in future also to help you.

Let’s wish the memories we are carrying will never die.

It feel really bad when someone who is really close goes far away. I have such experience so I can feel it.Everything remain same but we feel changed and lonely after the closer one's departure.

Dear Deependra,
Your poem is always fascinates me. I like this one too. One question, does it always have to peak at the last verse? Refer also to your previous poem e.g. about Grandmother.
Keep up this good work, dear friend.

 Deependra

Dear Lokman,
As always, pleasure is mine! Regarding your question (?), I would say, I am a still beginner & trying to improve my writing skills. However, I believe that the last verse should be at the peak (so that one finishes reading on a high note!).

"Dear Deependra,
The poem that you wrote is wonderful.
It is a friend who supports you at the tough times and the life goes up. People notice the value of a friend more at time of separation. We feel happy and excited when we are surrounded by friends. It is said, in Japan, about friendship that "It's a Pleasure that blooms both". Likewise, If we share our sufferings (pain) with friends, it (pain) disappears. Hope that we will continue to have friends in future as well as such, the pleasure of life continues..."
